Alka® Crème: alkaline skin care for a healthy skin!

The skin is always slightly acidic. Why? Acidic waste leaves the body through the skin through perspiration. Until the 70s, the skin was almost exclusively exposed to alkaline soap which neutralised the excess amount of acid waste on the skin. The skin remained healthy thanks to its optimal acid-alkaline balance.

When modern skin care products started to become popular the natural balance of the skin was disrupted due to their acidic pH-value, which led to an increase in various skin disorders. The skin becomes acidified by waste and dead skin cells, dries out or becomes just greasy with impurities.

With an alkaline pH-value of 8.2 Alka® Crème supports the healthy pH-value of the skin by neutralising the acid waste. The skin can breathe again and the regulating function of the sebaceous glands creates a healthy structure of the subcutaneous fatty layer again.

Daily use of Alka® Crème moisturises, soothes and nourishes the normal and sensitive skin with a rich selection of natural oils; coconut oil, Shea butter, almond oil and jojoba oil. The vitamin E and coenzyme Q10 contained in the cream energise the skin throughout the day and protect the skin during the night.

Coconut oil: powerful Alka® Crème ingredient for a beautiful skin

It's a well-known fact that coconut oil has highly positive effect on the skin. Its properties create a smooth, radiant and healthy skin. It is a vegetable oil, rich in antioxidants which strengthens the skin and curbs ageing. It has also been found that coconut oil, thanks to its antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, can help against various skin disorders, including psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema.

Shea Butter: source of resources, nourishes and protects the skin

Shea butter is a fat derived from the Shea (karate) tree. It contains a very high dose of fatty acids, vitamin A, vitamin E, and cinnamic acid, a natural substance that protects the skin against UV rays. It is a moisturising and protective butter with mild anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Shea butter has been used for a long time for the treatment of burns, blemishes, eczema, wrinkles, stretch marks, marks and other minor skin ailments. Shea butter hydrates the skin, improves blood-circulation in the skin and promotes skin elasticity.

Almond Oil: moisturising and itchiness suppressive, for every skin

Almond oil has a soothing, nurturing, protective and calming effect for all skin types, reducing inflammation and itchiness. Almond oil consists of 90% unsaturated fatty acids and also contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E. Its highly moisturising by nature has a positive effect on dry skin. Almond oil is also highly beneficial for the skin of pregnant women, as it combats stretch marks. Daily use of almond oil will give your skin a boost!

Jojoba oil: natural sun protection factor 4 to protect the skin

Jojoba oil is highly nourishing, rich in essential fatty acids. The oil also contains a substantial amount of vitamin E, which protects the skin against oxidation. Jojoba oil provides a natural sun protection factor 4 and moisturises the skin long-term. The anti-inflammatory characteristics of jojoba oil help against a scaly skin, acne, eczema and promotes wound healing.

Protection and anti-oxidation with Alka® Crème

Coenzyme Q10:

Our skin cells naturally contain coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10). But as we get older the amount of Q10 decreases sharply. Skin ageing can be prevented by using CoQ10 on a daily basis. The anti-oxidizing properties of CoQ10 protect the body against oxidative stress that is released during the production of free radicals. In addition, CoQ10 functions as an electron carrier in the mitochondria of the cell – best compared to a power plant – and thus stimulates the production of energy in the cells.

Vitamin E:

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that reduces the harmful effects of exposure to the sun. It also prevents wrinkles to develop and softens both the dry and the coarse skin. In addition vitamin E ensures that other ingredients of the cream penetrate deeper into the skin, increasing their efficacy.
